Oakwood offers something for everybody. Please take a look at the many ways you can participate and be a part of the great things going on at our schools.

We Offer

Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The FCA challenges coaches and athletes to use sports to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving our community by empowering and encouraging each other to make a difference for Christ. For more information, contact Stephanie Lucio or Lori Olive.

Future Farmers of America
The National FFA Organization helps our students meet the challenges of working in the industry of agriculture, which may also include biology, chemistry, veterinary science, or engineering. Agriculture is more than planting and harvesting; it is a science, a business, an art. Contact Renee Bean if you would like to be a part of FFA.

National Honor Society
The NHS is a national organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. It honors those who demonstrate excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS induction of new members takes place in the fall of each school year. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to apply/qualify for NHS membership. To find out the requirements and to see if you qualify to be part of this organization, please contact the NHS advisor, Lori Olive.

Student Council
StuCo members, elected by a vote of OHS student peers, include a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and elected members. This council represents the student body at school, district, and civic meetings and leads special projects and activities such as school spirit day or fundraising events. If you are interested in being part of this important council, please see the StuCo advisor, Scott Haseltine.
