Oakwood Technology Plan Approval
1. E-Rate Forms have been approved by USAC for Year 2007-2008 funding As of 01/22/08, OISD has been approved for $65,596.90. 2. Oakwood ISD will be installing 2 new T1 circuits, a new VoIP Telephone Switch with Desk Phones, Cordless Phones and Voice Mail , all new network wiring with wireless contact points, a new rack system, 2 new rack servers (1 for Internet Filtering and 1 Acellus Server) 3. Oakwood ISD has installed a new Polycom VSX 7000 Series Video System including camera and microphones for our Distance Learning classes. This includes a 32" LCD screen mounted on the Media Cart. 4. We also have a second Polycom system as a mobile Distance Learning site. As of 08/12/08 E-Rate Forms are in the approval process by USAC for Year 2008-2009 funding.
