Welcome to the Oakwood ISD School Counseling page. Here you will find information that will help aid in the academic success of every student within our walls. In the counseling office, we help set standards, make goals, and collaborate among students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members in order to provide support and propel our students toward great achievements.

School Counseling Mission Statement

The vision of the school counseling department is to give all students adequate opportunities to be successful academically, socially, personally, and in their chosen careers and to help our students become productive members of society. The goal of the school counseling program is to assess and attend to the needs of Oakwood elementary, junior high school, and high school students.

School Counseling Staff

Please be advised that Miss Olive will be available for outside phone calls, meetings with parents, and those outside OISD at only certain times during the school day. Please call (903) 545.2140 to set up appointments with Miss Olive or leave her a voicemail message, and she will return your call as soon as possible.
