As some of you may know, the Federal government recently passed legislation that has allocated money to use toward education related expenses and dealing with the COVID pandemic. Oakwood ISD's portion of that funding amounts to $621,268 for the ESSER 3 grant, of which 20% (approximately $125,000) is required to be spent in order to address learning loss. This grant can be spent over a three year period. Oakwood ISD is seeking the feedback of stakeholders in the district in an effort to gather information and make the best possible decisions for the use of this additional funding.
