Due to the ongoing outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) across the state, Oakwood ISD has taken the precaution of cancelling school next week, thus extending Spring Break by an additional week. This action mirrors what other local school districts such a Buffalo, Fairfield, Centerville and Normangee have done as all schools try to respond to this unprecedented situation with caution. This decision was made in conjunction with local officials along with guidance from TEA. At the present time, classes as scheduled to resume on Monday, March 23.
