Varsity Girls Basketball Update!
The Varsity girls game scheduled for 11/29 vs. Crossroads in Oakwood will start at 6pm.
We are trying to gage the level of interest in a fan bus to the game Friday. If you would be interested in this option, please reply with your name and the number of people that would possibly ride the fan bus with you. We will make a decision based on the response. Thank you!
JH Basketball Update!!!!
The JH boys and girls game scheduled for 11/29 at Avalon is now going to be played on Wednesday, 11/30 at Avalon with JH Girls starting at 5pm and JH Boys shortly after. 🏀🏀🏀

Friday, December 2 will now be an early release day due to the State Semifinals playoff game. School will be dismissed at 12:30pm on Friday to allow for our students and their families to travel to the game in Dublin. Go Panthers!

Congratulations to Oakwood’s very own Zackery Nickerson! He is the new record holder for the most rushing TD’s in a single season for 6-Man Football in Texas. He has 77 rushing TD’s, the previous record was 72.
He also has 3,496 yards rushing on the season and is currently in 8th place for that record.
Last night he had 23 carries for 475 yards and 9 TD’s. In the State Quarterfinal victory over Bluff Dale!
Zack would be the first to tell you he could not do it without his teammates, so congratulations to all of the Panther football team for helping to break that record.
A huge thank you to Coach JJ Johnson, Coach T. Tritz, Coach T. Cooper, and Coach J. Johnson for their tireless work in preparing the team!
