The Leon County Show is more than a showcase of livestock; it is a celebration of the dedication, grit, and unwavering work ethic our students have developed over the months. Through their tireless efforts, they have not only cared for their animals but also grown as communicators, teammates, and leaders, taking pride in every accomplishment.
Oakwood students have risen before dawn and worked long into the night, pouring their hearts into preparing animals and projects. Their dedication shines in every detail.
We invite the entire community to join us at the Leon County Expo Center to cheer on our hardworking students, explore their impressive projects, and share in the celebration of their achievements.

Attention! On Thursday, April 2 at 10:00am, Oakwood ISD will join other city, county, and local emergency management programs in participating in a statewide drill of local emergency alerting systems. This will just be a drill and no action is required.
The drill will be conducted using the Oakwood ISD emergency notification system and parents of students who are enrolled in Oakwood should receive an emergency message on their phones around 10 am on Thursday. Once again this is just a drill, and no action is required. We will remind people in the message that is sent out.
