Oakwood ISD is aware of the escaped inmate situation near Centerville. At the present time, we will be maintaining normal operations, but we will keep a close eye on the matter. We are getting regular updates on the situation from local police and law enforcement.
Attention Parents:
Oakwood's last day of school is Thursday May, 26th.
Elementary awards will be that morning at 9:00.
High School will be taking finals.
Graduation is Friday May 27th at 7:00 pm in the Gym.
The Oakwood FFA chapter is taking a end of the year trip to the Dallas Zoo on Tuesday May 17th. Please bring your $6 and permission slip to Mr. Brown as soon as possible!
Any current sophomores or juniors interested in taking dual credit next year, and any current seniors who want to improve their score....we will be offering the TSIA2 assessment on flex Mondays, May 16th and the 23rd. Testing will begin at 9 a.m. See Miss Olive to sign up.

Oakwood will play Kennard in a best of 3 series tonight in Grapeland. Game 1 is at 4:30pm. Game 2 will start roughly 30 minutes after the conclusion of game 1. If necessary, game 3 will be played at 10:00am on Saturday in Grapeland. Come out and support your Panther baseball team!!! 💙💛💙💛
