The Oakwood Junior High girls basketball game versus Brook Hill originally scheduled for Nov. 12 has been cancelled by Brook Hill.

Congratulations to our November FFA member of the month Kaydon! Kaydon is new to Oakwood this school year and we are very excited to have her! She is a sophomore and is currently in our vet science program to become a certified veterinary assistant level one! Thank you Kaydon for all your hard work in our program!

We will have a FFA meeting on Monday November 16th in the Ag building at 6 p.m. We are asking all members to bring two canned good items for the food pantry! Jr. Members are encouraged to attend!!
The football game with Calvert this Friday night has been cancelled. The football team is still qualified for the playoffs with a second place finish in district. We will post playoff information as soon as we have it.
High Island has cancelled tomorrow's volleyball match for the Area playoff game.
