After waiting for a week for the officials results to be certified, I can finally announce that the Oakwood ISD Voter Approved Tax Rate Election passed during last weeks election. Thank you to all of the people that got out and voted during the election and for supporting Oakwood ISD. Some of you may have noticed that your recently received property tax bill did not have the OISD school taxes on them. Your school district property tax bill had to be delayed because of the pending tax ratification election, but those will be mailed out separately in the next week or two. Once again, thank you for your continued support of Oakwood ISD.
Ms Folsom and Mrs Wilbanks's class delivered coffee to the staff this morning! We sure appreciate seeing the students each week!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Senior night has been postponed until basketball season for the Class of 2025 due to the weather situation tonight. We want senior night to be special and enjoyable for all so it will be postponed. As of this time, the game is still set to be played. Check back here for any updates.

PANTHER FOOTBALL GAME TIME CHANGE!!
Panther Football vs Trinidad on Friday, Nov. 8th was set to kickoff at 7 pm. Due to inclement weather we have now moved the game up to start at 6:15 pm. It will also be senior night and seniors will be announced before kickoff. Come out and support your Panthers!! District 12 1A II Champions!!

Attention Oakwood ISD Voters! Tomorrow is election day! Don't forget that we have a Tax Ratification Election (TRE) on the ballot this year. The money generated from the TRE would be used to help offset the costs due to inflation, help to pay for the modest teacher salary increases, and to help fund safety and security for the campuses. This is not a Bond election, but rather a voter approved tax rate election which helps to generate local funds while also generating more funding from the state. Ms. Folsom's class delivered coffee to staff today. The students are developing job skills by having a weekly coffee cart that the staff can order and have delivered. The students and staff are loving this new endeavor. 💛💙
