Since the Class of 2025 senior recognition night had to be cancelled due to the weather during football season, we have rescheduled Senior Night for this Friday, January 31st, between the girls and boys games against Neches. Girls will play at 5:00, followed by Senior Recognition, and the the boys game immediately after. Come and show your love and support for the Class of 2025! Today Mrs. Fuqua's class became surgeons. They scrubbed in with gloves and masks to help their patients by reading their patient file, determining what text feature the patient needed, and complete the surgery!
The kids know their text features and saved all the patients!!
Panther Boys and Girls basketball games have been rescheduled for tonight in Coolidge starting at 5 pm Boys are set to start at 6:15 pm. Go Panthers!!
Due to the continously changing weather reports that call for possible hazardous roads in the morning, Oakwood ISD has decided to cancel school tomorrow (Tuesday, January 21). We are planning for a normal start on Wednesday morning. Please stay safe and warm!
Due to a tragedy on the Malone Jr High boys’ basketball team, the boys’ game has been cancelled for tonight. We are currently trying to find a replacement game. We will keep you updated. The girls’ game will still be played at 5 pm.
FYI: Tonight's FFA meeting has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. FFA will reschedule for another date. Thank you for understanding.

Good afternoon Panthers! The current weather forecasts are looking a little better than expected for the Oakwood area. It looks like rain will continue for much of the day and into tomorrow morning, but temperatures are expected to remain above freezing. Oakwood ISD will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and into tonight. Currently, we plan to have a regular school day tomorrow.
