Using informational text, Mrs. Carr’s 5th and 6th grade ELAR classes learned ALL about snowflakes, the factors that determine how they are formed, and how their patterns are created. Then, they were able to make their own button snowflakes and hang them on the class tree! Snow much fun! 💙💛💙

Christmas Parties will be Friday at 9:30. Student may be signed out in their classroom after 10:00. Early release at 12:30.

We have been made aware of a statewide bomb threat hoax that seems to have originated from Russian hackers targeting Texas schools across the state. Oakwood ISD has not received any messages targeting the school. Once again this is a hoax targeting schools in Texas and there is no threat to our school. Just wanted to make everyone aware.
