Oakwood ISD new safety requirements!
Mrs. Salguero's Art class is starting their versions of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" painting. If anyone has hairdryers that they would be interested in donating to the Art class, let Mrs. Salguero know at ssalguero@oakwoodisd.net . This would help them greatly by allowing them to dry paints in the middle of painting so that the process of layering goes a lot faster.

We will have cross country practice on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday starting at 6:20 each morning. I’m aware we have rain moving in this week, if it’s raining we will be in the gym. The first meet is Wednesday September 7th in Latexo, second is Wednesday September 14th in Cayuga, the third is Wednesday September 21st in Neches. We are hosting the Jr High and High school district meet on October 5th.
Emma was Grand Champion and Intermediate showman. Claire won both of her classes and 3rd overall. Congratulations ladies!
