Mrs. Fuquas class completing a novel study! The students are reading “Bridge to Terabithia.” They are using post-its to label any figurative language and text evidence to the comprehension questions. They will be using R.A.P strategy to answer short answer questions.

2nd grade ended their day of camping and reading by making s'mores ! They had a great day!!

Oakwood Baseball Update! The Panthers will play Kennard tomorrow, May 2, at Nacogdoches High School at 5 PM, weather permitting! If it is rained out, the game will take place on Saturday, May 3 at Nacogdoches High School at 1:00 PM.

Tonight's playoff baseball game against Kennard has been cancelled due to severe thunderstorms. Game updates will be shared here on Facebook when available! Stay tuned!

Oakwood Community, Please don't forget that Election Day is this Saturday, May 3. If you would like to vote in the School Board election, please swing by on Saturday to vote . Voting will be held from 7am to 7pm in the cafeteria.
